Mite load	What it means
Under 1%	Low. Keep monitoring monthly (every 3 weeks in late summer).
1% to 2%	Rising. Re-test in about a fortnight and get your treatment ready.
2% or more	Act now. This is the treatment threshold. High-risk apiaries act at 1%.
