Bees, Worms and the Rest of the Homestead

Hive records, worm logs, and where composting and preserving fit.

The Bee tracker

The Bee module (Pro) keeps proper hive records: inspections, varroa monitoring washes, treatments and honey harvests, with a card for each hive. It works for both honey bees and native stingless bees, and it knows your state’s registration and monitoring rules. Open it from the menu under Bees, then the My Tracker tab.

The Worm log

The Worm module tracks when you fed the farm and harvested castings, with reminders so you never overfeed. It sits alongside the garden so the whole loop, scraps to castings to soil, is in one app.

Composting and preserving

Composting and preserving live on the website as full guides rather than trackers: how to build and fix a compost heap, and how to ferment, dry, freeze and bottle a glut. They round out the homestead picture. See Composting and Preserving the harvest.

Background reading: the free beekeeping guides and worm farming guides explain the how and why; the trackers keep your records.
